Co-op Owners for Political Action®
Supporting Elected Officials who Support Co-ops and their Members
As a member-owner of Carteret-Craven Electric Cooperative, you are among 42 million Americans who can claim ownership in a not-for-profit, member-controlled utility that provides electricity at the lowest cost possible.
Through the Action Committee for Rural Electrification (ACRE®), electric cooperatives have supported candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives who will speak for and protect the interests of these cooperatives and their member-owners.
The ACRE Co-op Owners for Political Action® program is an opportunity for CCEC members to join a strong grassroots network dedicated to the long-term success of the electric cooperative program.
Elected officials make policy decisions that affect Carteret-Craven Electric Cooperative and your way of life. Co-op Owners for Political Action® is an easy way for you to help determine who gets elected to make those decisions.
We hope that you will consider this program. Together we will continue to fight for a viable environment for electric cooperatives and the quality of life of the people and communities that cooperatives serve.
